Services and Conditions of Use

As part of our service, we agree to provide you with information and other services that we may decide to offer, subject to the terms of this agreement. Upon notice published through the service, we may modify this agreement at any time. You agree and continue to agree to use our services in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations and in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the policies and guidelines outlined below. Please note that you will be referred to as 'customer' in this agreement.

2. The web site, its contents, terms and conditions and contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. Those who access the site from other locations are responsible for compliance with their local laws and taxes as applicable.

3. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

4. By clicking the 'Google Checkout' button to submit your order on the checkout screen you are offering to buy goods at the price stated subject to our terms and conditions.

5. All prices are shown in GB Pounds Sterling and include FREE delivery via Royal Mail First Class delivery within Mainland UK. All deliveries to non-UK addresses are FREE and will be sent via Royal Air Mail. Designlink reserves the right to change any advertised prices at any time.

6. We aim to dispatch within two working days from receipt of order. Our range also now includes some special custom made pieces which are made to order, these will be dispatched within seven working days of proof approval. Special return conditions apply to custom made pieces as described in clause 7. All deliveries are subject to payment authorisation. If an item is temporarily out of stock and dispatch is anticipated to be greater than five days, we will contact you by e-mail or telephone to arrange a new delivery date, if this is not satisfactory a refund be given. We cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer as a result of late delivery or cancellation of your order. If you have any questions regarding delivery please e-mail us at support@design-link.co.uk quoting your order number.

7. Under our 14 day money back guarantee, if for any reason you are not entirely happy with your purchase, we will give a full refund provided that goods are returned to us in the condition sent, by Royal Mail Recorded delivery, within 14 days of you having received them. We do not provide refunds or exchange items which have been custom made to fulfil an order except as detailed in clause 8.

8. Please check the goods on delivery. Damaged or faulty goods must be reported within 7 days of delivery and the goods should be returned within 14 days of delivery. If you do not inform us within 7 days we shall have no liability for goods said to be damaged on delivery. This does not affect your statutory rights.

9. We accept on-line payment by all the major credit and debit cards by using the Google checkout system.

10. To order goods you must be least 18 years of age.

11. Images may not show the actual size of items. All sizes, weights and measurements are approximate and are included for guidance only.

12. All personal details entered by our customers remain secure on Googles server until orders are downloaded and processed. We do not supply or sell customers details to any outside organisation. We will endeavour to take all reasonable care, in so far as it is possible to do so to keep all details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering.

13. Designlink does not accept any responsibility for any Web site not under our control, which may act as a portal to our site or be connected by a link with our site.

14. Designlink reserves the right to refuse the supply of goods at its discretion.

15. If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be excluded and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions.

16. Any disputes not resolved by normal complaints procedure will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales under English Law.

17. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you. We recommend that you print and keep a copy of these terms and conditions.

By using the service, you agree that you will not attempt to undermine the integrity of this web site.

Limitation of Liability and Warranty

CUSTOMER AGREES THAT USE OF THE SERVICE IS ENTIRELY AT CUSTOMER'S OWN RISK. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED 'AS IS,' WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY FOR INFORMATION, SERVICES, UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS, OR PRODUCTS PROVIDED THROUGH OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE SOFTWARE LICENSED TO THE CUSTOMER AND THE RESULTS OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE. SPECIFICALLY, WE DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION: 1) ANY WARRANTIES CONCERNING THE AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY OR CONTENT OF INFORMATION, PRODUCTS OR SERVICES; AND 2) ANY WARRANTIES OF TITLE OR WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

CUSTOMER SPECIFICALLY ACKNOWLEDGES THE SERVICE IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE DEFAMATORY, OFFENSIVE OR ILLEGAL CONDUCT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS OR THIRD-PARTIES AND THAT THE RISK OF INJURY FROM THE FOREGOING RESTS ENTIRELY WITH CUSTOMER.

NEITHER THE SERVICE NOR ANY OF ITS AGENTS, AFFILIATES OR CONTENT PROVIDERS SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF USE OF THE SERVICE OR INABILITY TO GAIN ACCESS TO OR USE THE SERVICE OR OUT OF ANY BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY. CUSTOMER HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION SHALL APPLY TO ALL CONTENT ON THE SERVICE.
